By using AO3 Reader ("the App"), you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

AO3 Reader is an independent, third-party reading application for publicly available content on Archive of Our Own (AO3). The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Organization for Transformative Works (OTW) or Archive of Our Own.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. AO3 hosts content with varying maturity ratings. You are responsible for configuring your content preferences accordingly.

3. Account & Authentication

The App does not require an account or sign-in. Firebase Anonymous Authentication is used solely for backend communication.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

AO3 Reader offers optional Premium subscriptions (Weekly and Yearly) through the Apple App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Free trial periods, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Content

All fanfiction content is sourced from AO3 and created by AO3's community. We do not create, modify, or claim ownership of any content. Rights remain with respective authors.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit AO3 content
Circumvent subscription requirements
Reverse engineer the App
Violate AO3's Terms of Service

7. Service Availability

The App depends on AO3's availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or discontinue features at any time.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for content sourced from AO3.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
